A morning walk and thoughts

I work up early today with lot of thoughts in me. With no intention to sleep again, I was lying down in bed thinking about something. After a coffee and overview of morning paper here (I never like that), I was roaming around the house. My aunt told me about Sangy Tank nearby, a good place for a walk. With no intention to walk today, I told her I will go and check that place.

It is 5 mins walk from my aunt's home. Lots of trees here in Bangalore. Sangy Tank is a water reservoir with lots of trees surrounding it. I was attracted by the sight of the place and I am very sure about lot of people going around the side path of the reservoir.

Walking has become a day to day event in India. Lot run, walk, sit, chat, shout! I was in my t-shirt and night pant and a normal slippers. Why do these people walk? my father always tells me all have some illness or know someone who is ill.

All the life has changed now. My father was healthy enough when he had to take water from well daily to bath and other uses in my old home in Chennai. When the water pump and tap replaced his work and job level changed, he got the B.P and other illness. He admits he should walk daily.

My job never requires physical work except I need to be awake to work. I sit all day in my air conditioned office with no outside air to breath (anyways polluted). I am sure to be attacked with more of these problems if I do not do physical. I was thinking how to make my job a running job. Only idea I got was to get my laptop or computer charged with a cycle dynamo?

I have head a friend say, a guy in early 30s got heart attack due to stress. Wow, that is near. Where am I now?   I realize that I am spoiling my health too by siting on my computer all day long and never move my a**.

Recently, a thought on Yoga made me positive. What is that in it really. I do not know. I am happy to see there are so many who is willing to do Yoga. All because of fear. At least that can help people do something about their health. Parks are getting crowded day by day and new activities start every now and then.

Being healthy is more than what we think. I have very close person to admire and follow. My grandpa does physical exercise daily and keep himself fit. Where else I need to learn from? It is all the willing or the fear that always makes us do something. I do not fear to shake me and do something about. Am I willing?

Home Work

My home in Madras was my grandfather's. I could say my home is 'open house'. Anyone looking the house from outside can tell how many doors and windows the house have. It is a two floor house with an open passage in between and rooms on the either side. The staircase to the first floor 2 rooms is outside. If my mother was asked to manage the house, she will be having 9 to 10 keys with her. Not the locker keys but the door keys. That is not the case. My grandfather is the 'key man' and he kept the keys near the window which anyone can take. I am not going to tell more on this, my actual story is below. My story goes back to 4th or 5 th standard. One of the doors in the house lead to 'dinning hall' because it had the dinning table. This is a place where I put all my books around and do my home work. What is that home work. I never understood anything. I was asked to copy whatever is there in the book to my note. Actually, I was writing a new book. My sister is ...
